Comprehensive Real User Review: APEC Water Systems ROES-50
With over 16,500 verified customer reviews and a stellar 4.7-star rating, the APEC Water Systems ROES-50 is America’s most popular under-sink reverse osmosis water purification system.
The Reverse Osmosis Gold Standard
While standard pitchers rely solely on activated charcoal, the APEC ROES-50 forces water through five distinct stages:
- High-capacity polypropylene sediment filter (dust, rust, particles)
- Premium extruded carbon block (chlorine, odors, cloudiness)
- Secondary carbon block (VOCs, industrial chemicals)
- High-rejection TFC reverse osmosis membrane (arsenic, lead, fluoride, nitrates)
- Refining coconut shell carbon post-filter (final taste polish)
Key Highlights & Laboratory Feedback
- 99% Contaminant Removal: Laboratory tests confirm 99% rejection of heavy metals, fluoride, and hardness minerals. Tap water testing at 280 ppm TDS emerges from the dedicated chrome faucet at 12–18 ppm.
- Dedicated Metal Storage Tank: The 4-gallon pre-pressurized tank delivers strong, continuous water pressure directly through the included lead-free gooseneck faucet.
Should You Buy It?
